Lights. Camera. Paws!

Seven Los Angeles County Animal Care Centers — including the Agoura Animal Care Center — put dogs, cats, rabbits and other critters in the spotlight on Saturday, July 13, at an event that organizers called the largest-ever single-day photo shoot of shelter pets.

The “Seen = Saved” adoption day recruited 200 photographers from around the country to photograph shelter pets available for adoption. Adoption fees were waived for the weekend.

The resulting photos, videos and personal bios would be posted on SeenEqualsSaved.com, organizers said.
