Police were chasing a vehicle driven by a suspected kidnapping suspect in the Palmdale area Thursday night.
NewsChopper4 Alpha’s Eliana Moreno was overhead as the vehicle was driving at high speeds on the southbound (405) freeway.
According to Palmdale Sheriffs, a woman was at Melville J. Courson Park with a group of men that offered her a ride in their vehicle. Shortly after, the woman said her boyfriend was supposed to pick her up from the park but the two individuals in the car refused to let her out.
The woman, whose name has yet to be released, texted her boyfriend saying she was being held against her will.
Eventually, the boyfriend caught up with the vehicle the woman was in and tried to get the men to let her out but they continued to refuse. The boyfriend flagged down officers and they then began to chase the vehicle.
After about an hour and a half, the pursuit came to an end when the vehicle came to a full stop on the (405) freeway in the city of Irvine. The vehicle drove through south Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Two males, one of them disabled, and the female were taken into custody without any injuries and were taken to Palmdale Sheriffs for questioning.
