The Los Angeles Lakers introduced Anthony Davis, who will don the no. 3 jersey for the purple and gold, on Saturday at the team’s training facility in El Segundo. LeBron James also came out and was present for the press conference, with the two superstars enjoying a few moments together after the question and answer session.
Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka referenced Davis’ importance to the future of the franchise, saying the team wanted the big man to provide a “decade of dominance” after being traded to LA.
Notably, James was wearing a sweatshirt that had “Crenshaw” written across the chest, an ode to slain rapper Nipsey Hussle.
