Police responded to the Westfield Century City Mall Friday after a report of a person with a gun, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

There is no evidence that shots were fired at the mall, according to police. It was not immediately clear whether the report came from inside the mall out or location outside the building.

The mall in the 10200 block Santa Monica Boulevard is in the process of being evacuated. Aerial video showed people standing outside the shopping center near several police vehicles.
