The Upland Police Department responded to a plane crash on the 1300 N. block of Benson Ave Saturday morning. 

At around 9:45 a.m., Upland police responded to the call.

Three people were on board the Cessna 182 aircraft when it had engine trouble and crashed in a parking lot, according to authorities.  

The passengers of the plane sustained injures and were transported to a local hospital.

Northbound traffic on 13th st. will be blocked off until further notice while the southbound side of Benson Ave. is still open.

Authorities advise drivers and residents to avoid the area.
