A high-speed police chase of a possible DUI driver on Wednesday night across two counties ended in Long Beach with an arrest of the driver.

California Highway Patrol officers joined the pursuit of a silver Audi on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Buena Park. During the chase, the driver turned off the car’s lights periodically.

The driver at times reached speeds of over 100 mph before exiting the freeway and later moving to the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway.

The driver wound his way along freeways and streets to Long Beach before bailing out of the car and getting arrested.
