Police were pursuing a Mercedes in the Newport Beach area of Orange County Wednesday, with the vehicle moving inland from Dana Point.

It was not immediately clear why police initiated the traffic stop that led to the police chase, but Newschopper4 Bravo was over the chase at approximately 3:30 p.m.
