Music producer Phil Spector’s hilltop estate in Alhambra, known as Pyrenees Castle, is up for sale at $5.5 million.

The 2.5 acre French Chateau-style mansion was where Spector shot and killed actress Lana Clarkson after a night out in Hollywood. Spector lived in the mansion while he was out on bail and waiting his first trial.

The estate has nine bedrooms and seven full and three half bathrooms. The 8,700 square feet gated mansion designed by architect John Walker Smart looks over the San Gabriel Valley.

Spector is well-known for his “Wall of Sound” music production and now is serving a prison sentence of 19 years to life.
