Angel’s All-Star Mike Trout has scored himself a 9,000-square-foot English Tudor-style mansion in Newport Beach for $9.15 million.

Built in 1982 (Trout was born in 1991) and recently updated, the house – located in the guard-gated Harbor Ridge community – has an elevator, built-in “doggie bath” and sweeping coastal views.

The formal entry leads to the living room, with a wood beam ceiling and a behemoth fireplace.

A row of glass doors to the viewing deck runs the length of the great room, just off the gourmet kitchen.

In the master suite, there are his-hers walk-in closets and a shared bathroom with two vanities, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower.

At the top of the staircase are four bedroom suites, an office and an extra laundry room to the one downstairs.

The basement features a family room with fireplace, full bar, wine cellar, and sauna, plus an additional bedroom that can double as a den.

Glass doors open onto the backyard where there’s a covered lanai for outdoor entertaining, a built-in barbecue, and a swimming pool.

Gigi Thomas of Compass was the listing agent. Celeste Gilles of Villa Real Estate represented the buyer.

The home listed on the MLS in May 2018 for $9.498 million, dropping to $9.150 million in July 2019. The sale closed July 31, property records show.

Trout, 28, is an Angels’ center fielder and two-time MVP.

This spring he made American sports history when he agreed to a 12-year, $430 million deal with the team.
