All lanes on the northbound side of the 110 Freeway near Century Boulevard have reopened after being closed due to police activity Thursday afternoon.

The Sigalert was issued just before 4 p.m. after a call of a car crash was reported, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to CHP, a man was shot by another person driving in another vehicle traveling westbound on the 105 freeway.

The incident happened on the westbound 105 to the northbound 110 at around 3:33 p.m. according to CHP.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and said to be in a serious but stable condition.

The gunman fled the scene on the 110 and there was no description of the vehicle, CHP said.

All lanes were shut down, and police were conducting an investigation.
