A man was shot and killed early Friday in Silver Lake.

Officers responded at about 4 a.m. to Glendale Boulevard and Allesandro Street where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The victim died at the scene.

Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide. No information about the shooter was available.
