The Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee is looking to fill more than 4,000 temporary jobs for the week of Super Bowl LVI.

The hiring will focus on pre-game activities at Los Angeles Convention Center and Super Bowl game-day events at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. The jobs involve assisting guests, distributing staff gear and helping visitors find their way to various Super Bowl LVI events.

The positions pay $19 to $30, depending on specific job assignments, and hires will have the opportunity to receive Super Bowl LVI gifts and prizes, officials said.

Kathryn Schloessman, the committee’s CEO, said Super Bowl LVI will place the region on the world stage and strengthen its reputation as a premier sports and entertainment destination.

The temporary hires, she said, will add to the guest experience.

“The Super Bowl LVI Teammate program will ensure that from the moment a guest arrives, they will feel welcomed and inspired to explore the best of Los Angeles, which includes enjoying local dining, shopping and entertainment that supports our region’s businesses,” Schloessman said in a statement.

A recent study from Micronomics Economic Research and Consulting predicts Los Angeles County stands to gain as much as $477.5 million in economic benefits from Super Bowl LVI, with as much as $22 million in tax revenue from the Feb. 13 game at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.

Micronomics acknowledged some of the added tax revenue will be offset by increased costs for city services, logistics, transportation, community engagement and other obligations.

The firm based its estimates on potential visitor turnout to the region, average hotel rates and daytime spending per person, per day. It also estimates thousands of visitors who will converge on the region’s hotels and restaurants could generate 2,200 to 4,700 annual jobs.

The Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee serves as a liaison between the National Football League and the city of Los Angeles to harness economic opportunities surrounding the event.
