
A body was found after a large number of fireworks were found inside a garage in West Adams, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The discovery was made Saturday after officers were called to the 2400 block of 9th Avenue at about 6 a.m. There, a large quantity of fireworks was removed from a property that was the center of an investigation.
While working to remove the fireworks, officers found a dead body. It’s unclear how that individual died. Police did not release the name of the deceased.
LAPD said its bomb squad and arson investigators are investigating.
