Entering the aural-amazing world created by a favorite band or artist playing live on-stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival? You’re going to need some serious sustenance beforehand, to make that particular cosmic sound journey. And it just so happens that, each and every year, a gourmet-minded gaggle of super chefs turns out at the Indio two-weekender, all to keep festival goers supping upon top-notch cuisine.

What can you expect, eats-wise, from Coachella 2019, which returns to the desert from April 12-14 and again from April 19-21? Indio Central Market will be back, with “… 15+ of the most celebrated restaurants under one large, shaded tent with plenty of seating,” oh yeah. KogiTown, an installation from Chef Roy Choi, will also be a tempting, talked-about spot.

And fresh for 2019? Postmates Pickup will make its delish debut at the fest (it’s part of the Coachella fest app). But plenty of other foodie happenings, including the popular Outstanding in the Field meal, will return, if you’ve grown to dig some of the dining staples of the celebration.

Peruse some of the 2019 food-forward purveyors now, and start daydreaming about what you’ll eat before/after your time rocking out at the stages.
