A bomb squad investigation closed off part of a neighborhood Wednesday morning in Tarzana.

The possible explosives investigation was near Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street in the west San Fernando Valley. Los Angeles police said the location is near what appears to be an encampment.

A large perimeter was established around the area and residents were being told to stay away.
