Amazon has launched its 4-star store, Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Westfield Topanga mall, mere weeks after the e-commerce giant said it would launch another store in Woodland Hills, according to mall owner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.

Sandwiched between Free People and Lacote clothing shops on the first level of the shopping mall, the store features a selection of top-sellers trending on, including consumer electronics, toys, games, books and kitchen devices, according to the mall’s representatives.

Digital tags placed alongside every product show the price, Prime member savings, average star rating and the total number of reviews a product has received.

In selecting merchandise for the stores, Amazon’s curators look at pre-orders, sales trends, customer reviews and ratings, customer wish lists and what editorial teams have curated online.

“Amazon 4-star is an exciting addition to the Westfield Topanga line-up, providing shoppers the opportunity to discover in person the top-rated and top-selling products on Amazon,” said Molly Unger, vice president, and general manager, in a statement. “With consumers today focused on experience and convenience when it comes to shopping, Amazon 4-star is another way we are fulling our guests’ needs at the center.”

Amazon opened its first 4-star store in December at The Americana at Brand mall in Glendale.

The Woodland Hills store is the eighth nationwide, which includes another California site in Berkeley.

More California locations are planned for Burlingame and Corte Madera, company officials said.

The online retailer also has Amazon Books locations in Westfield Century City, Waterside at Marina Del Rey and Palisades Village, as well as an Amazon Pop Up store Westfield Century City.

The 4-star shop’s opening comes a few months after Amazon said it would launch a new type of grocery store in Woodland Hills, across the street from Topanga mall.

The company is expected to open a grocery store at 6245 Topanga Canyon Blvd. where Toys “R” Us formerly occupied a lot. It’s still unclear what can kind of products it will carry or what name it will have.

The store in Woodland Hills neighborhood will be distinct from Whole Foods, the higher-end chain specializing in natural and organic groceries, according to Amazon.
